Abstract:

A much better sale of crop harvesting machines after the crisis in 2009 and 2010 supported the innovation process of manufacturers. Development of forage harvesters focussed especially on the implementation of current emission standards. For many other machines in this sector innovations were mainly about improving the machine and process throughput. Furthermore, a high number of developments aimed for reducing the power requirements.
