Abstract:
The markets for combine harvesters do not develop uniformly. The manufacturers expand their product range in all classes. To overcome the limitations of the machine size, alternative combinations for the grain harvest are discussed. The simulation of the threshing, separation, cleaning and transport processes in the machines keeps getting better results. With further developments in the field of electronics, control and automation, the adjustments of the combine are getting easier and the use is more efficient.
