Sowing Seeding Technology

Abstract:
Powerful and cost-effective electronics are increasingly being used in the lower and middle price segment of seeding technology. Mechanical drills retain their importance in the market and are further optimized with regard to working quality, operating comfort and safety. A sin-gulation system for grain seeds is now available as standard. The precision planting of maize up to 20 km/h is possible with very good planting accuracy. New control systems improve the seed embedding in precision sowing. Research results concern grain transport and separa-tion as well as effects of cultivation parameters on the yield in maize cultivation.
