Cultivation Technology Tillage equipment

Abstract:

More frequent drought periods and heavy rainfall events are changing the requirement profile for agricultural farming systems. Protection against erosion and evaporation, the capturing of CO2 in soils, and the improvement of infiltration storage and drainage capacity of soils are gaining in importance. In addition, the use of plant pesticides will be further restricted in the future. Therefore, in addition to the increasing importance of mechanical weed control, there are further requirements for soil cultivation. The innovations of recent years consist of combining tools, optimizing wear resistance and precise depth control for ultra-shallow tillage. Digitalization solutions offer the possibility of recording and adjusting operating parameters during the process. In addition, highly automated and semi-autonomous machine systems for farming are increasingly gaining importance due to continuous market launches.
