Ride Dynamics – Ride Safety – Driver's Place
Abstract:
Efforts for optimization in the field of agricultural tractors are characterized by various conflicting areas. These include the adjustment of traction, energy as well as cost efficiency and soil protection, the suitable trade-off between driving safety and driving comfort as well as the handling of complex parameter settings and monitoring regarding ecological and economic objectives without overloading or endangering the persons employed. Current efforts aim at a deeper system understanding and the exploitation of previously unused potentials. Modern approaches for data collection, analysis and parameter identification are used, as well as integrated simulations within the product development process and alternative monitoring, drive and control concepts.
