Crop Harvesting
Crop Harvesting
Abstract:
In the season 2014/2015 the sales figures for crop harvesting machines are stable despite the ongoing difficult economic situation and low producer prices for milk. This is partly due to a high demand for organic material by biogas plants, whose capacities have been expanded constantly in recent years.
The forage harvester producers responded to the tendency towards longer chopping lengths. They presented various cracker variants to ensures reliable crop processing even at high throughputs. New assistance systems help the operators to run the machines in optimal operating points. For loading wagons and balers there is further on a tendency towards more powerful machines.
