Tractor sales have been depressed 2015 worldwide - also in Germany. Technical developments meeting emission levels EU IV respectively Tier 4 final are widely completed. The focus at Agritechnica 2015 has been moved now more to CO2 reduction, improved traction systems (4WD control, ballast management, some single tracks), further transmission innovations, improved electronic interfaces and cab comfort, progress in electric implement drives and further steps forward of tractor-implement management (TIM) via ISOBUS. At the same time the trend of using smart phones for communication systems has been intensified. The trend of global co-operations and production systems is going on as well.
