Tractors Tyres - Tyre-Soil-Interaction

Abstract:
Besides extending the offering of very high flexion tires the demand for high traction and improved soil protection of agricultural tires is met by the optimization of tire pressure and ballasting of the tractor. For the matter of measuring the transmittable forces of an off-road tire there is still no standardized way of representing the results. Due to inclusion of soft soil and special operation modes tire modelling is becoming increasingly powerful and significant.
