Tillage Cultivation technology

Abstract:
Declining sales figures has been registered in the sector of tillage technology since 2014, both on the side of machine and implement manufacturers (- 1.2 %) and also on the market (app. - 2 %). But this reduction is less compared to other sectors in the agricultural machinery branch. Still in Germany up to 70 % of the manufactured cultivation systems are exported. Focuses in R&D activities are in the area of conservation soil tillage, residue and vegetation management during tillage but also in the field of side specific applications and incorporation of agricultural fertilizers. For the acquisition of yield related soil parameters, e. g. pore volume and soil humidity during operating in the field, first solution has left the prototype status and are tested in practical applications.
