Assitance and Automation
Abstract:
The use of assistance and automation solutions in modern agriculture machines proceeds with increasing speed. New sensors, optimized algorithms, cheaper electronics and increasing computing power led to a high number of new automation systems within the last two years. A distinction has to be made between monitoring systems, informing or giving recom-mendations to the driver, as well as controlling systems, supporting the driver in complex, monotonous or high dynamic tasks. The following sections give an overview of different sys-tems, presented during the last two years.
