Test Engineering and Quality Assurance
Abstract:
Test engineering in agricultural machinery ensures high quality in all machinery components. Latest instrumentation contributes to improve test procedures or creates new opportunities that were not known or possible. Today the tractor still is in focus, but its fuel consumption is well documented due to realistic test procedures. High investments in those procedures today make sure that in the future this information will be even more reliable. Research institutions investigated sensors and data algorithms to describe and extract complex struc¬tures being able to simplify the assessment of the work quality of tillage implements.
