Crop Harvesting Forage Harvesting

Abstract:

The manufacturers of agricultural machinery have had record turnover in the last two years, but are currently in a recession according to CEMA. The price of milk also reached a record high in 2022 before falling again. Model updates of self-propelled forage harvester have been made, particularly concerning the engines and pickups. Krone introduced an innovative grinding unit, reducing maintenance efforts of their "BiG X" SFH. Manufacturers are once again focusing on improving the details of round and square balers to increase throughput and operator comfort. There are frequent revisions to the pickup and the net and film wrapper. Claas discontinued production of the Cargos combi, loader and forage wagons in spring 2022. Production of the Cargos series will initially be partially taken over by Fliegl and from 2024 in full, initially with no technical changes.
