Abstract:
Different approaches for the optimisation of the tyre-soil-interaction exist. On the one hand, new improved tyres, tracks and machinery systems are introduced. On the other hand, systems for the optimisation of existing technical solutions are increasingly developed with the aim to relieve the driver and automatize required adjustments. Additionally, the progress in simulation technology boosts the required understanding of the force transmission between tyre and soil.
