Tractors Tractor Engines and Transmission

Abstract:
SCR technology is more and more applied for stage IV tractor Diesel engines above 56 kW. Additional Diesel particulate filters (DPF) are not generally introduced. Deutz-Fahr announ¬ced for 2014 a power shifted PTO. Several companies developed integrated tire inflation pressure control systems. ZF improved its stepped transmissions and presented a new small CVT. CNH introduced a new CVT in the upper hp range and Claas surprised with an own CVT for the Arion models. Pure electric or hybrid ground drives remained unimportant. High attention is however paid regarding reduction of energy losses within the complete drive line.
