Root Crop Engineering Potato Technology

Abstract:
The global production and harvest of potatoes is characterized by an increase of mechanization and more and more professional growers. Technical developments lead to larger machines, especially for tillage and the combination of several steps in planting. With respect to harvest and storage, the technical developments focus on optimization of the whole production chain and components. For the first time a new pneumatic separator is shown on a two-row trailed harvester.
