Machinery and Technique in Poultry Husbandry
Abstract:
In addition to the further improvement of animal welfare and animal health, a reduction of emissions and immissions in poultry production should also be taken into account. Indoor measures such as optimizing husbandry management as well as improving air quality in the barn make more sense than investing in expensive facilities for cleaning the exhaust air. Recent developments, such as the Optima E-Control drinking system or the INLIGHTJET, offer promising opportunities to achieve this goal. In this context, the basis of good production, namely cleaning and disinfection, should not be neglected. With the Hygitrix® system it is possible to automatically control and document these processes.
