Looking to the future – considerations of the agricultural history museums
Abstract:
Today's society is changing rapidly and with it its interests and perspectives. People who visit a museum expect different things from it than visitors 15 years ago. This also had and still has an impact on the Kiekeberg open-air museum's exhibition concept and all other agricultural museums in general. Museums used to look back in time when they presented agricultural topics, but nowadays it is necessary to include the present and the future when dealing with this field of research, often even including the food production and processing process.
