General Development International management standard for sustainability

The principle of sustainability can contribute to the actual challenges for enterprises and societies. However, the principle needs to be put into concrete terms in order to reflect the specific conditions of the agricultural machinery industry and to be made 'operable'. Therefore, ISO/TC 23 decided to develop a management standard in order to assist the agricultural machinery industry when implementing this principle and to support a uniform approach worldwide in the field of agricultural machinery and to achieve acceptance in the individual markets.
