Information Technology Farm Work Science

Abstract:
The constantly changing framework conditions in agriculture and forestry are leading to an increased demand for objective, valid and reliable calculation bases for research, extension and practice. Previous calculation systems based on estimates or statistical calculations with linear interpolations do not meet this requirement. The increasing digitisation of our working environment is leading to growing challenges. More and more, information and data technology govern our daily working lives. Work processes in agriculture, forestry and vegetable production are also increasingly being digitised, standardised and networked. Increasing technological progress is tending to cause our physical workload to decrease, whilst exacerbating the psychological stress components in our lives.
