Crop Harvesting Crop Harvesting

Abstract:

The market for agricultural machinery improved moderately in the last year in Germany. Due to an increase of the milk price, it is assumed that sales have also increased in the forage harvesting sector. In the forage harvester segment, John Deere shows a model update in the market-relevant mid-range power segment. In the balers, detailed improvements to mechanical components and a higher level of equipment with sensors shall lead to an extension of operation time and an improvement in operating comfort. Features of the high performance classes are now also offered in the medium performance segment. Pöttinger presents the Jumbo 7000 and Jumbo 8000, the most powerful loader wagons on the market. In the segment of forage transport, Krone is showing a new concept with the GX general-purpose wagon with a chain-drawn floor belt.
