Crop Harvesting Crop Harvesting

Abstract:

In the 2016/2017 season, the agricultural machinery market was able to recover from the economic recession of the past three years. The manufacturer of green forage machines benefit from the increasing milk price. The sales volume improved considerably compared to the previous year. Biogas plants reaching a constant level in total electrical output in the past years induced the decrease of sales of forage harvesters. This season the sales of the forage harvesters were able to increase slightly. Manufacturers introduced completely new machine concepts this season. Vermeer showed a self-propelled baler that has not existed so far. Fliegl developed a transfer wagon for grass harvesting, which enables the use of conventional wagons and harvest transport wagons.
